The 401 VCO is a precision analog oscillator built with temperature‑stable components, including a high‑headroom oscillation core. It provides four simultaneous waveforms, clean tracking, FM response, and reliable sync behavior. Form factor of the unit is compact (10HP) and can be powered from any standard Eurorack-format power supply.
Voltage Control (4 Inputs)
1V/Oct Input — precision 1 volt-per-octave input
FM Input — expressive modulation
PWM CV Input — modulates pulse width for animation and timbral movement
Sync Input — hard resets for harmonically locked or aggressive sync
Waveforms (4 Outputs)
All waveforms are generated simultaneously and buffered for consistent levels:
Sine — low‑distortion sine, waveshaped from the triangle core
Triangle — smooth, stable triangle, ideal for FM
Saw — harmonically rich saw, classic analog spectrum
Sub‑Oscillator — divided‑by‑2 square wave for weight and depth
Each waveform is available on its own mono 3.5mm dedicated output jack.

Coarse Tune — wide‑range pitch setting

FM Amount — manual FM control
